Spiral Copper Lamp

Description
One of my favorite designs this free flowing spiral copper lamp has some beautiful form. Each lamp is unique and I allow the copper pipe to flow and bend in a spiral direction as it pleases. This lamp is sure to add a nice accent to any space and become a real conversation piece. The clever design incorporates a dimmer switch which unlocks the true potential of the exposed Edison bulb of which there are 4 options available. It can be dimmed from a low to high setting with ease which gives the lamp real functionality meaning it can be used in a multitude of settings. Its larger size makes it perfect as a statement piece in your home.

A clever reuse of old gas copper pipe. This beautiful copper pipe lamp has been bent free form by hand into the traditional form of a spiral using mostly reclaimed and recycled plumbing pipe. The copper is hand polished to a natural finish that will age and develop character over time. 

This lamp was designed around the exposed Edison bulb and each design was developed to accentuate their beauty. This table lamp will not only lighten up your space with a delicate and ambient tone but will also add a quirky and artistic note.

Specification
10mm reclaimed copper pipe. As it is handmade and free form each lamp is unique but I will try to constrict as much as possible to the dimensions below. There are 4 bulbs to choose from in the drop-down menu with various different filament designs.

Care Instructions
All materials used are recycled or salvaged where possible. No lacquer or covering is used. The material is polished to a natural finish by hand and the products are designed to age over time. 

Over time copper naturally changes colour. Transforming from a shiny brown/red colour to darker browns, then blues and finally greens after a number of years. When exposed to the natural elements copper develops this ‘patina’ which actually protects and preserves the metal underneath. 

If you wish to clean the copper, we recommend some very fine wire wool or some P1000 or higher silicone carbide sandpaper both of which can be picked up from your local hardware shop. Please make sure the lamp is disconnected from the mains before cleaning. Please do not clean the copper effect lamp holder as its painted!
