MAR Fragrances is an Irish owned luxury home fragrance brand, founded by Megan Roche whose goal was to create premium, high-quality, non toxic products that would be environmentally friendly, affordable and high end. Adding luxurious décor to your home.

How it all started was… Well where do I begin. I have always been a big fan of candles with the cosiness and smell it brings to your home. However, one day I noticed the soot and smoke that came from the different candles which I felt very uncomfortable about as firstly it couldn’t be good for your health breathing in any of those toxins and second of all, I noticed there was black soot marking the ceiling from these candles. This is when I started to look into it more and I learned so much from the different types of ingredients and wicks on how they contribute in different ways from being toxic to non toxic, it all just depends on what ingredients you’re using. As we all know, what comes with premium, high quality products comes with a price. This is where I saw an opportunity to try and create a product that was high end, non toxic and affordable.

I never would have thought about how much work goes on behind the scenes in not only making a candle but creating the perfect eco-friendly, non toxic product. There is endless testing and research that is involved but I am so proud to finally be able to present my product to you all. There is so much love and passion that goes into making every one of these products and I feel so grateful and thankful for every order that comes in.  It truly is a dream come true to be able to do what I love.
