Hand carved and hand printed 16 string Irish harp coin Lino Print. This harp design is modeled on the 'Brian Boru' harp in Trinity College Dublin. It is on the obverse side of all Irish coins and has the text "Saorstat Eireann" (Irish Free State). This design (with this text) was in circulation in Ireland from 1928 - 1937.
The size of this Lino print is approximately 23cm x 23cm.
Each one of my Lino prints are printed by hand and are not digital copies.Due to the handmade nature of Lino printing each print will be subtly different and may have very slight variations to the image shown. This Lino print is printed on high quality textured ‘Lokta’ handmade paper from Nepal using Professional ‘Speedball’ block printing ink.
The photos shown give an accurate representation of the product, I have tried to capture the true color of the paper and of the ink, but please be aware that paint density can vary slightly and paper tone/shade can vary batch to batch.
This listing is for an unframed piece, framed images are for display purposes only.
All prints come packaged inside a clear protective sleeve on a card backing board. When delivering I try to recycle whenever I can so please excuse any packaging that looks reused or repurposed.
