Hand carved and hand printed Irish Florin coin Lino Print. The animal chosen for the Irish two shillings was the salmon, representing both the sea fisheries and the freshwater game fishing. This design was in circulation in Ireland from 1928 - 1969.
The size of this Lino print is approximately 23cm x 23cm.
Each one of my Lino prints are printed by hand and are not digital copies. Due to the handmade nature of Lino printing each print will be subtly different and may have very slight variations to the image shown. This Lino print is printed on high quality textured ‘Lokta’ handmade paper from Nepal using Professional ‘Speedball’ block printing ink.
The photos shown give an accurate representation of the product, I have tried to capture the true color of the paper and of the ink, but please be aware that paint density can vary slightly and paper tone/shade can vary batch to batch.
This listing is for an unframed piece, framed images are for display purposes only.
All prints come packaged inside a clear protective sleeve on a card backing board. When delivering I try to recycle whenever I can so please excuse any packaging that looks reused or repurposed.
Orders are dispatched as quickly as possible this is usually the next day (Monday to Friday), however occasionally if something need to be printed to order then dispatch may be delayed by one more day.
