Handmade from her Kerry Studio, Jayne designs and makes Merino Wool Felted scarves and other accessories. Her inspiration is taken from the textures and colours of the landscape, and applied to modern fashion trends. Merino Wool is both eco-friendly, warm, and breathable. Mixed with silk, it becomes lightweight and luxurious. Each piece is guaranteed to draw admiring comments.
Jayne Gillan is a member of the Design & Crafts Council of Ireland, and a member of Original Kerry. Jayne has showcased at the RDS in 2019 and 2020 and her designs have appealed to the Irish Celtic market both at home and abroad. She featured as an irish designer in the spring issue of 'Spirit of Ireland' magazine.

Jayne Gillan Designs has grown from a passion of wool.
Wool is a naturally sustainable material, that is biodegradable under the right conditions, yet long-lasting when taken care of. It allows your skin to breathe and still keeps you warm and dry at the same time.
All the designs are original to Jayne Gillan, and worked to patterns that are tried and tested. The softest Merino Wool is felted to a point where the items are still soft, yet highly durable.
