Sióg draws inspiration from nature and the natural goodness that surrounds us. The name Sióg (Fairy) is a nod to early childhood days in Leitrim, Ireland with Fairy Forts and a Grandfather who was eager to pass on his love of nature and the outdoors.
People frequently relied on wild herbs and old remedies to treat common ailments. Over time much of that knowledge has disappeared.
Sióg is about returning to those age old remedies. It is about celebrating our amazing wild herbs and trusting that nature will provide. The herbs, hips and berries are foraged by me.
