This geometric pendant is inspired by the beautiful Georgian architecture and overlapping buildings of Dublin city. It is from these structures that I drew numerous designs, each time abstracting the original.
The two rounded squares are overlapped like two buildings but it is because their open design that they are an elegant but sophisticated piece of jewellery that will give a final touch to any outfit.
This brightly polished sterling silver pendant is hallmarked by the Irish Assay office. It hangs on an 18 inch chain finish with a silver lobster catch. It is a stunning and simple piece of jewellery to wear for every occasion, perfect for that special someone.
(Pendant measures 25mm x 25mm)

"Miriam Wade is an Irish goldsmith and designer from Mullingar, Co. Westmeath. It was her love of creating three-dimensional sculptural pieces as a child that encouraged Miriam to study jewellery and metalwork at NCAD in Dublin. She then went on to study on The Design & Crafts Council of Ireland Jewellery & Goldsmithing Skills course. Since graduating in 2013, Miriam has gained experience working in the jewellery trade whilst also designing her new collection of jewellery."
In 2014 Miriam started out designing her first jewellery collection inspired by the historical landscape of the midlands. Since then she has further expanded her collection and created silver and gold ranges based on the connections we make with people in life, the close bonds we form with people and our surrounding landscape. Growing up in Mullingar she was constantly surrounded by the lakes of Westmeath and the beautiful historical landscape of the midlands. As a child she would often spend a Sunday afternoon with her family by the lake shore skimming stones and accidentally falling in for a swim. These childhood memories have slowly developed into different themes that have inspired her designs.
Miriam’s design style can be defined as a combination of organic pattern and geometric form. With these amalgamated design styles her jewellery pieces keep in line with simple but modern design that remains timeless and elegant. All pieces are made from precious metals and carry the stamp of authenticity from the Irish Assay Office.
My Promise - I take huge pride in my work and I cherish working on every new project. All of my work is hallmarked by the Irish Assay Office as a seal of authenticity and quality and my work is fully appraisable and insurable.
All orders come in presentation boxes and with a care guide and brochure.
I stand by my work and guarantee it for 1 year on all labour and materials, but also often recondition, clean or repair older pieces. I never compromise quality for time and give my clients realistic schedules that accommodate their lives.
