"Ayu" means "beautiful" in Japanese...And the confidence one shows when they are comfortable with who they are, in the clothes (and jewellery) they wear, is the ultimate kind of beauty.

At the moment, this is what I hope for my business to achieve:  

1. Women helping women. 

I believe in women helping women. I, myself, am a working mum. This is why I hope to use this business, not just to display and sell my own jewellery designs, but to support small and micro businesses around the world, particularly those run by women (and working mamas) like me. When we support each other, we empower each other. 

2. Earth friendly.

This business will try to be as sustainable as possible, by trying to use as little, if any, plastic in packaging, etc. Any plastic used, will be recyclable or reusable, to keep the world beautiful. Some pieces of jewellery are also made from other old pieces of jewellery, like old necklaces. This way, less ends up in a landfill. Unsold items will be reused to create other designs.

3. Focus on personal style instead of being on trend.

I have always believed that one's personal style must always be celebrated. The way we wear our clothes, is how we give others a glimpse into our personalities. It is an outlet for us, as individuals, to showcase ourselves and in the process celebrate who we are.
