"90% of coffee farmers earn less than €2 a day and the majority of coffee growing countries still rely on international aid. Poor prices and hardship for farmers can lead to deforestation and habitat destruction as land is cleared to grow food and help struggling families survive. Around the world 25 million coffee farmers and their families (125 million people!) rely on coffee for their livelihood."

About 8 years ago a bunch of African and European entrepreneurs launched Moyee Coffee. Their ambition was to reimagine the coffee industry and share more of the value from coffee with coffee growing countries. They called this model FairChain.

They set up Moyee’s first roastery in Addis Ababa, established partnerships with coffee communities in the Jimma region and began to develop a roadmap for a living income for coffee farmers which could also protect and rejuvenate the wildlife habitats of the coffee belt.

In 2016, Irish social entrepreneurs, Shane Reilly and Killian Stokes, discovering the good taste and ambition of Moyee established an outpost in Dublin to bring FairChain coffee to offices, shops and homes across the UK and Ireland.

Great coffee at a fair price..Had two to tango and triple play and a friend got dark side and all 3 were just beautiful coffee. Very fast delivery. Would defo recommend this to other people in the Running community..Ian @ Couchto5kCork

Ethiopian coffee is known to be the best in the world & Moyee Coffee's Ethiopian coffee is just that, I just love its flavour, really good coffee.
Also Moyee Coffee's work with Ethopian growers is Brilliant. By roasting the Beans as well as growing them in Ethiopia, it empowers local communities & gives them jobs, that wuld otherwise go abroad! So well done Moyee Coffee ❤
